It's Not About the Truth

When it comes to Donald Trump, it's never about the truth. Donald Trump is all about smoke and mirrors, conspiracies and fake news. Everything but his hair is fake. The guy is the representation of an habitual liar.

Donald Trump was never shy about letting his cohorts know that he wanted to focus his campaign on not so smart individuals. Why? Because these people wouldn't question his outlandish statements. They wouldn't question his lies and conspiracies. They would buy into his claims that he knew more than the doctors, the generals, etc, etc.

The problem for this great country is that a large swath of the population bought into his garbage and they still do. If we were talking about any other person, if they attempted a coup and to overturn a fair election, their political career would be over.

I'm not sure why people love the common criminal. If we compare Biden to Trump with facts, we would see a clear winner.

Age - Biden is 81. Trump is 77. OK, so Trump wins but not by a landslide.
Jobs - Biden has created many more jobs, especially jobs that pay higher salaries.
Unemployment - The unemployment rate is lower under Biden.
Overall Economy - Much stronger under Biden but extremist conservatives have won the narrative with fake news. Yes, I'm talking about Newsmax and Fox News. Both these media empires are built around the fake news that they pump out to their gullible viewers.
Presidential Behavior - Biden wins hands down.
Telling Lies - Donald leads by a landslide when it comes to telling Lies.
Alleged Criminal Behavior - Donald is the King here.

It's clear to me that there is only one choice for President. That person is Joe Biden. If you're looking for a president who will lie every second that he can and will act like a criminal, there is only one choice and that's Donald Trump.

If you're looking for a dishonest and horrible human being, Donald Trump is your guy. If you're looking for a guy that broke agreements with contractors he hired for his real estate endeavors, Donald Trump is your choice.

If you're looking for a president that thinks his daughter is hot, Donald Trump is the candidate for you. As far as I'm concerned, my morals prevent me from voting for this horrible man. How would you like to talk about your daughter's body in a sexual way? That's absolutely disgusting.

When I looked at Trump, he makes me want to vomit. I'm not sure why his fans love him. I thought conservatives upheld moral values or so they claim. I guess that doesn't matter to them when they're talking about their hero Donald Trump.

Republicans Embrace Soviet Style Leaders

It looks like Republicans continue to embrace Soviet Style leaders. These leaders are extremist. It started with Donald Trump's embrace of Vladimir Putin. Now Republicans are embracing Hungary's authoritarian leader, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán. It should come as no surprise that Viktor is buddies with Putin.

Viktor Orbán is anti-LGBTQ, anti-immigration and believes in other right wing policies. The guy is scary and is a right wing extemist which is a huge draw for American Conservatives. Republicans have embraced Soviet Style leaders since Trump came to office.

I grew up during the Cold War, when the Soviet Union controlled Eastern Europe. It was a brutal era for citizens living in countries like Poland, Hungary and others. Citizenry were ruled with an iron fist and had little to no freedoms. People were expected to do what their governments demanded and Eastern Bloc leaders were expected to adhere to Soviet demands and policies.

This was also a very scary time for the world at large. Both the Soviets and the West built up a stock pile of deadly weapons that included nuclear arsenals that could have wiped out the world many times over. So why do Republicans support these type of leaders?

I think that leaders like Putin help to reinforce their extremist policies. Republicans seem to love leaders that rule their citizenry as if they were flocks of sheep. I think Republicans want to lead people who aren't open to debate and education. They want people that are void of free thought.

These types of leaders and politicians pose a great threat to this world. Their world view does not conform to free speech, democratic ideals and healthy debate. These leaders want to lead their people as if they are sub human entities and not intelligent human beings.

Criminals Not Protesters

I think it's time to call the so called pro Hamas protesters what they are. They are criminals that should be charged with breaking and entering, damage to school property and other crimes.

Overnight, some protesters on the University of Columbia campus, broke into and occupied campus buildings. Yes, Occupy!

These criminals don't care about anything but acting like common criminals. Are these perpetrators actually university students?

I'm beginning to wonder if they're actually outsiders that came to the university to create chaos and threaten Jews.

These people should not be revered. They should be condemned and made out to be what they are. Common criminals. Columbia University officials should ask for the Governor to bring in the National Guard. Columbia can't allow these degenerates to win. This is pure lawlessness.

I believe the majority of Americans are disgusted with what they are seeing unfold on their television screens. It's disgusting. It's deplorable. It's sheer madness and needs to be stopped.

These delinquents need to be punished and punished severely. They are not protesting peacefully. They are now threatening tithe campus. They are a threat to every person at the university that isn't a so called protester.

Lock them up and charge them with the harshest crimes possible. Let their actions carry with them for the rest of their pathetic lives.

SUSPENDED! Columbia Pro Hamas Protesters Remain Defiant

Columbia University has run out of options in dealing with pro Hamas Protesters on the campus. After an ultimatum of clearing campus or being suspended, the protesters have chosen to remain and be unruly. As the tensions increase, the protesters have shown their true colors by ramping up their anti-Semitic actions that have included violence against Jewish students.

Being anti-Jewish seems to be the protesters modus operandi. Columbia University officials have tried to come to an agreement that would have included investing in education in war torn Gaza. Like their Hamas heroes, the pro Hamas students turned down the University.

Let's understand something. Hamas has turned down multiple US, Egyptian and Saudi Arabian brokered cease fire agreements. We are seeing what Hamas, a terrorist organization is all about. The students protesting on campus seem to be following the same actions. These protesters seem to be fueled by their hatred of Jews. Why else would they attack Jewish students?

Columbia has started to suspend students who defy the school's orders. Good. They should be expelled for life. While these unruly Jew haters are suspended, they are barred from graduating this year, barred from campus and barred from student housing. I'm sure their parents must be so proud of their delinquent children.

The actions of these criminals will follow them for years to come. I wonder if they will look fondly about their actions in 20 years? I wonder if they will be proud of their anti-Semitic actions? These students protesters are disgusting. I wonder if many of them even know what they are protesting.

The other thing I'm noticing is that many of these criminals are wearing masks. If their actions are truly altruistic why are they covering their faces. The reason is that they know that they are doing something wrong.

They should be brave and show who they are if they are proud of what they are doing. They are cowards who are hiding behind their masks. It seems as if the protesters are part of a mob mentality and are acting like sheep who keep to their flock. Bah!

The Root of Evil - Universities Anti-Israel Protests Don't Hide the Truth

As Anti-Israel protests continue on American campuses, it is becoming clear that many who are protesting the Israel-Hamas war are motivated by their hatred of Jews. Anti-Semitic incidents among the protesters have increased and increased and increased.

Obviously not all the protesters are screaming their ant-Jewish hatred but many are. The louder that these protesters get, so do anti-Semitic incidents increase. Jews on American campuses have seen an uptick of antisemitism in the last couple of years. That was well before the war in Gaza, a war that Hamas started.

It's looking more and more like the protests are an excuse to show hatred towards Jews. The hatred has resulted in some violent incidents. If something isn't done, these Jew hating protesters could feel emboldened to become much more violent.

We can see that these progressive protesters are fueled by their hatred of the establishment and their hatred for Jews. Progressives supposedly preach equality and diversity. Do they mean this or do they mean everyone that aren't Jews? That sounds hypocritical.

It's now in the hands of the protest leaders to step in and put a stop to this hatred. If they don't, they will create even more criticism and the belief that these protests are really about being anti-Jewish.

Bernie Sanders who is revered by progressives, condemned bigotry and especially ant-antisemitism but sympathizes with the protesters. That should come as no surprise coming from Sanders. The guy is an extremist left-winger.

I believe that extremism on both the right and the left is wrong and shouldn't be tolerated. We should stamp out extremism before it gets out of hand. Jews across America are frightened. There's been a huge increase in anti-antisemitism in recent years. These kinds of hate filled protests remind Jews of 1930's and 1940's Europe.

Let's hope that these protests aren't hiding a greater threat to Jews. Let's hope that cooler heads will prevail. Let's hope that these protest leaders put an end to the antisemitism on American campuses.

Trump VP Hopeful is Another Whack job

Kristi Noem is a candidate and VP front runner for Donald Trump. She is yet another extremist conservative whack job. It doesn't surprise me anymore that the people who associate with Donald Trump are unsavory people. Calling these people extremists makes bigots look meek and mild.

So what has Noem said that is causing a storm of discontent. In her soon to be released book, Kristi Noem seems to be proud about shooting and killing her 14 month old dog. Noem made these assertions in her book.

If killing her defenseless dog didn't seem to be enough, she has defended her cruel actions. Why did she kill her dog? Did he attack her or her family? No. The poor dog was "worse than worthless" and "untrainable" as far as her little mind is concerned. Noem claims to love animals but if that was true she would have been dedicated to doing everything she could to train her puppy.

I think that killing her dog and writing about it in her book was a way to drum up publicity for her book and also use the killing to go after the so called politically correct. The fact is that there are conservatives and liberals that are true dog lovers and must be appalled by Noem's actions.

I don't believe that Noem is fit for office. She seems to be another gun toting person who isn't afraid to shoot her defenseless dog to death. Yeah Kristi, flex your muscle. You're really tough. Shooting an innocent and defenseless animal is not only gutless but shameful as well.

Maybe Trump will come to his senses and make sure that Noem will not be in the running to be his VP running mate. Let's not give Trump too much credit. I think that this is just the type of crazy person that Trump loves. Maybe he can use the negative press surrounding Noem by saying it's a Biden and liberal conspiracy.

Everything seems to be a Biden and liberal conspiracy to the criminal defendant. I believe that Noem is just the type of politician that the GOP loves.

Where Were They on October 7th?

This post is a hybrid of an open letter to anti-Israel protesters on American campuses and an opinion of the protests.

As anti-Israel protests continue on university campuses nationwide, I have a question for the protesters. Where were you on October 7th, when women, children and men were slaughtered in Israel? Where were you when women and children were butchered? Where were you when women and children were raped in Israel by Hamas murderers? The answer is you weren't anywhere. You didn't care that Jews were slaughtered.

Now you protest and use anti-Semitic tropes. Are you ant-war or anti-Jewish? Why do you have to wear face masks? What are you afraid of? If you're protesting against the Israel-Hamas war, why are you demanding things that have nothing to do with the war? You're demanding no police on campus. What do you have against the police?

My fellow Americans, the protests on American campuses are about being anti-American, anti-Jewish and anti-law enforcement. Many people protesting don't care that 1,200 Jews were slaughtered and that it was Hamas that started the war.

Most of the protesters don't care that Hamas murderers dragged Israeli bodies through Gaza City with thousands and thousands of people cheering them on. I thought it was anti-Muslim to desecrate a human body. Maybe it doesn't count when that body is a Jew.

So the protesters are Jew haters? Maybe. Maybe they're just misinformed about what is happening in a place of the world that's thousands of miles away. Maybe they will protest just because it's Israel. Don't get me wrong, Americans have the right to protest and demonstrate when it's done lawfully.

If these demonstrators are for peace, why are these protests causing Jews on campuses to be afraid for their  personal security? Why did many have to leave campuses and go home? I think that Americans should know about what's going on.

Jews in America shouldn't be afraid. They should be treated with respect. Respect! The very thing that the protesters on campuses are demanding. As I said, Americans should protest things that they are concerned about but they should do it lawfully and without hate

Indicted! Rudy Guliani Indicted

Rudy Guliani and two others were indicted by an Arizona Grand Jury in a 2020 election subversion case in that state.Rudy Guliani, a former New York prosecutor did everything to try and overturn the 2020 election for Donald Trump. He should have known better. Guliani is another person in a long line of the king's men that have been indicted. Trump allows his henchmen to do the dirty work and then lets them fall like dominoes.

I really think Rudy is in trouble. He will soon find out how it feels to be in Donald Trump's (The King) wake. He will feel how Humpty Dumpty felt. He will be all cracked up. The guy is just another fall guy for the Dictator in chief.

Rudy thought he would be invited to the Kings table if he could overturn a fair and legal election. Sure Donald is on trial and will face many more. Trump is likely to get away scot-free. Do you think Trump will visit Rudy at an Arizona prison. That's highly unlikely.

If Rudy decides to save his hide by turning state's evidence against Trump, Trump will deny any wrongdoing and say that Rudy is part of the Biden conspiracy. Guliani thought that his celebrity would protect him. He thought his friend would protect him.

The only person Trump protects is Trump. This should serve as a warning to future Donald Trump Wannabes. Trump uses his allies like a piece of trash. When he's done with you, he will throw you in the garbage.

It amazes me that people don't realize that they're being used by Donald. They probably don't think anything will happen to them. Maybe it's just greed. They must think that they will make away like bandits. Like most allies of dictators, they are the first to fall when something turns sour.

If I was Guliani, I wouldn't hold my breath that Trump will visit and comfort him.

Judge to Trump lawyers, You're Losing Credibility

Today a judge in a hearing to decide if the ex president should face fines for continually violating gag orders, lambasted Donald Trump's lawyers. Judge Juan Merchan told Trump's lawyers that they were losing their credibility in the way they were arguing in Trump's defense.

You can hardly blame the lawyers. Trump is a loose cannon. He won't listen to anyone with authority. He believes he's above the law. In Trump's mind, the only law is his law. Trump's lawyers must be throwing their hands up in regards to their client's behavior.

In this hearing, they were likely trying a hail Mary defense and hoping it would stick. The judge is having none of this nonsense. He wants criminal defendant Trump to listen to his orders. The judge doesn't want some maverick defendant trying to take control of the court room.

It will be interesting to see what penalties if any, the judge hands out to Trump. Even more questionable is if Trump will finally listen to the judges gag orders. I think Trump believes that this hearing is a circus and that he can treat it that way. Trump will learn that he's not in control of the hearing and any hearings in the future. Trump will be treated like any other criminal defendant.

Trump is acting like a jackass but that isn't surprising. During his life he's been able to use his lawyers to strong arm anyone that he thinks are in his way. I believe the man has ruined people's lives, especially the people that don't have the means to fight him in court.

Some of the people that he's harmed are the little guys, the type of people that he says that he's representing. Let's be clear, the only person that Trump is representing and fighting for is Donald Trump. Nobody matters to Trump but Donald Trump. If you get in his way, he will stream roll you.

Maybe just this one time, Donald will find out that he's not above the law.

Supreme Court Brushes Kari Lake Away

The Supreme Court brushed Kari Lake and her conspiracy theories aside by not hearing her appeal in her challenge to the use of electronic voting machines in Arizona. The Supreme Court is extremely conservative but even they can't buy into crazy MAGA conspiracy theories.

Kari Lake is a nut job and buys into far right policies that are anti-American. She is one of Donald Trump's puppets. The problem is that she actually believes the nonsense that Trump spews out. She doesn't seem to have the capacity to know fiction from reality.

The sad thing is that Kari Lake is running to be a US Senator (Arizona). That's absolutely scary. There are enough people in Washington politics that have lost all sense of reality. These people believe in some crazy sh*t. Even more scary than these crazy politicians are the people that support them.

America has become a breeding ground of extreme politics. It's the breeding ground for absolutely ridiculous and unproven theories. In some cases politicians know that these conspiracies are false but still continue to repeat the same false ideas. In other cases, politicians are incapable of individual thought and become part of the mob.

Each type of politician is scary and dangerous to America. History has shown that extremist politics lead to totalitarian rule. A once democratic country can fall into the hands of a government for the regime, rather than a government for the people that allows citizens freedom and free thought.

We saw what happened in the 20th century where millions of people were slaughtered by extremist regimes. We need to look back at history and educate ourselves about the errors of the past. The problem is that many Americans aren't diligent enough to educate themselves about what is reality and what is crazy politics.

I hope that Arizonans are intelligent enough not to buy into Kari Lake's bizarre and dangerous politics. America can't afford to have another conspiracy theorists in our national political chambers.

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. - Even His Family Doesn't Support His Presidential Campaign

Today, Robert F. Kennedy Jr.,'s family endorsed President Biden and his bid for re-election. RFK Jr. is a disgrace to the Kennedy name, a family that has deep roots in the Democratic party. RFK Jr. is an embarrassment to his family and his father would likely be very upset with his son for being a rogue and a conspiracy theorist.

Kennedy Jr. is a vile and disgusting person and I believe that his family is disgusted with him. Rober’s family, including six of his siblings were in Philadelphia to show their support for Biden. They have distanced themselves from their brother and his outlandish opinions, statements and conspiracy theories (including his anti-vaccine stance). This guy is not fit to be head of the most important position in the United States and arguably the most powerful person in the world.

RFK Jr. is a disgrace to his family and to this great country. His ridiculous behavior makes him look and sound like he's unfit to be a politician, let alone the President of the United States of America. RFK should be in a mental hospital. The guy is delusional but come to think of it, it would not be fair to residents of a mental hospital. The guy's behavior would inhibit them for having a peaceful life.

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. comes from a long line of democratic politicians. His late father, Robert F. Kennedy and uncle Ted Kennedy were well known in the Washington political scene. I can just imagine what they must be thinking looking down at this moron, prance his way through his campaign.

Do I sound like I don’t like the guy? It's not about disliking him, it's about being sickened by him. The guy annoys me, because he will steal votes from Joe Biden. This election is not a joke and Kennedy is using this election as a way to hurt the party of his family.

Hopefully Kennedy will not be successful in his attempt to hand the  2024 presidential election to Donald Trump. The though of another four years of Dictator Trump really scares me.

Democrats Quash Bogus Articles of Impeachment Against Alejandro Mayorkas

Senate Democrats quashed Bogus Articles of Impeachment brought against Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas. These articles were initiated by  House Republicans in what was a sham and a clown show that only Republicans know how to do.

The Impeachment of Mayorkas was orchestrated by anti-American Republicans in the House. These bone heads are willing to support Donald Trump and his attempts to overturn a just and legal presidential election but are willing to impeach Mayorkis for illegitimate reasons.

Representatives are supposed to what’s best for America. Instead, those incompetent Representatives gladly wasted tax payers money in a case that had no merit.

These are the games Republicans play. They waste Americans time trying to ban abortion, ban same sex marriage,  and tey to legislate bills thar anti-LGBTQ individuals.

Let’s hope that sane heads prevail and American citizens boot all Republican Representatives and Senators in November.

These individuals are so out of touch with reality that it’s sickening to observe.

Thankfully, Senate Democrats and three independent Senators thwarted any attempts by Republicans to proceed with a trial.

At least Democrats didn’t want to waste time with a trial and decided to do more important work, especially since they knew the case would go nowhere.

Mitt Romney told the press a few days ago that the case would go nowhere, inferring that the case was flawed from the outset.

Romney a Republican still voted no to kill the bill. This shows how idiotic Romney and his party are.

Americans should be disgusted with any Senator that thought the case was baseless and still voted no to kill the bill.

This clown show indicates how crazy and dysfunctional politics have become in our great country. 

Ireland's Prime Minister is a Cuckoo Head

Ireland's prime minister is a cuckoo head. Simon Harris said that Israel's  of reason has been replaced by revenge. Damn right they have. They want to eliminate Hamas. If that's the definition of revenge, I guess they are seeking revenge.

I wonder how Ireland would react if their people were raped and slaughtered by terrorists. It was Hamas that started the war and they govern Gaza. It's not a war against the people of Gaza. It's a war against Hamas.

Let's see how wonderful Hamas is to their people. These terrorists hole themselves in schools and hospitals. They pose a great threat to Israeli soldiers and Israeli citizens. The soldiers have no choice but to eliminate the threat.

Hamas governs its people and they put them in harms way so they can cry fowl. I'm deeply saddened by the loss of life of women, men and children that are innocent victims in this war.

I also think its time for a cease fire. Let their be no misunderstanding about a potential cease fire. Hamas has refused. Why? Because Israel isn't releasing enough prisoners for an exchange of the less than 40 hostages that it is holding captive in Gaza.

Israel is prepared to release hundreds of Palestinian prisoners that committed terrorist acts against her. Hundreds vs less than 40.

Now Israel has replaced reason with revenge? Harris should look at himself in the mirror and call out what he sees, a delusional person who seems to be a Jew hater. You know what I think of Jew haters? They are ignorant and disgusting people.

Biting His Lower Lip

Hello fellow Trump haters, today was the first day in his hush money trial and selection of jurors took up the whole day. The former dictator in chief did not look happy. He looked like he was fuming and he was also biting on his lip. The image above is priceless and made me laugh.

I wonder if it's setting in that some of his dirty laundry will be displayed for the world to say. If people already think the guy is a clown clown is already ridiculed and think the guy is a clown by the majority of this world, his legacy will be further set in stone.

Seriously, the guy looks like a three year old in the image. This is the guy that could be our next president? G-d help us all. If many of us think he did just great damage to the United States, just think what another four years will be. I'm dreading the possibility that this dictator wannabe to be will be the next president. I hope Trump has many opportunities to bite his lip as the Trial moves on. I can't wait for Stormy Daniels to take the stand. 

Maybe he will start poking his eyes out. I wonder if we'll see his face turn red. Ha ha ha ha!
I think he'll be found not guilty or it will be a hung jury. Donald is made of Teflon. Nothing sticks. Even if that does happen we will get some great laughs as the trial continues. I can't wait to see the continuing days' images of him during his time in court.

I think this trial will wear Trump down. We can only hope. Let's see how he acts as his campaign for president gets closer to the presidential election, in conjunction with this ongoing trial, not to mention his other criminal trials. Maybe he'll become even more senile than he already is now. Why do I think he's senile? He is a habitual liar, a narcissist and loves all the authoritarian leaders. 

The guy is no spring chicken either. Everyone talks about how old Biden is. Trump is not far behind in age. Biden is 81 and Trump is 77. Ronald Reagan, the iconic Republican president was 78 years old at the start of his second term.

I know that I've made fun of Trump and I have insulted him in this opinion piece but the guy is an easy target, especially for those of us that despise him.

Maxwell Anderson is a Disgusting Human Being

On April 12th,  Maxwell Anderson was charged with first degree-murder intentional Homicide, mutilating a corpse, and arson of property other than a building in the murder of 19 year old Sade Robinson after having a date with her. Sade has been described by friends and family as being vibrant and extroverted.

Maxwell allegedly burned her car and mutilated her body. Robinson's body parts had been spread across the Milwaukee area. Robinson had her life in front of her and this barbarian snuffed her out like an animal. This is a very disgusting and sad story. This is a gruesome murder.

The horror that Robinson must have felt in the last moments of her life had to be torturous and extremely harrowing. This young woman suffered unimaginable pain. She had been looking forward to the date with Anderson but he had other plans and lured her into a nightmare that didn't end until she was murdered.

Guys like Anderson, need to be put away for the rest of his lives. Hopefully this monster will get some prison style justice from other inmates. He deserves to have a painful and harrowing time for the rest of his life.

Sade will be missed by her family and friends. Her family and friends will have a life sentence of their own. It's too bad he can't be charged for the pain and suffering he imposed on Sade's loved ones. The damage to human life is terrible.

Sade had her whole life ahead of her. She could have contributed to her community in numerous ways. The world lost a vibrant young woman. The world lost someone who seemed to enjoy her life. Her family has lost a shining star.

I pray for her loved ones. I pray that they will be able to have some joy in their lives but the loss of their beautiful and vibrant friend will last a lifetime. I also hope that her loved ones can keep her memory alive and share with others the person that she was.

I’m sick and tired of hearing and reading stories like this and the disgusting men that commit these disgusting crimes.

Iran Launches Dozens of Drones at Israel

Iran launched dozens of rockets at Israel. This was in retaliation for Israel striking an Iranian embassy in Syria. Let's be clear, Iran has funded both Hamas and Hezbollah. These two terrorist groups have been launching attacks against Israel.

With that being said, Benjamin Netanyahu has lost his marbles. Israel is fighting a war against Hamas, Israeli settlers who have surrounded a Palestinian town after an Israeli boy went missing (more about this for another time). And now they might be confronting a war with Iran. Sure Israel has mighty fighting power but if Hezbollah launches attacks Israel, the Israeli Defense Forces could be stretched thin.

Iran has been itching to attack Israel for months after the Israel/Hamas war started. Israel unnecessarily engaged Iran. Why would a smart person want a war against Iran, especially when it should be focused on ending the war with Hamas? The answer is that Netanyahu wants to remain Israel's Prime Minister. Israelis are sick of him and if an election would be called, he would likely be booted from office.

During wartime, Netanyahu can hold on to power. That makes him a danger and liability to Israel and its citizenry. I don't like Netanyahu and that's an understatement. I love Israel and strongly defend its right to defend itself against terror groups that surrounds and country in Iran the funds those terrorist groups. Netenyahu can really damage when it comes to their allies and also staving off war with multiple attackers.

These terrorist groups want to destroy Israel and annihilate  every Jew on this planet. Netenyahu Should longb and hard about the best way of defending Israel, Israel will not Destroy Hamas. The war against Hamas could be Israel's Vietnam. Israel and Netanyahu should focus on getting the hostages back home safely. To be fair, Hamas keeps turning down the peace agreements that Israel has supported but the lives of the hostages held by Hamas needs to be released.

Netanyahu has shown that he is not a wartime prime minister let alone a true defender Israel. Netyanyahu is terrible person. He needs to removed from office.

Donald Trump and Mike Johnson are Incompetent

Never mind that Donald Trump has dozens of trials awaiting him and that the majority of Americans think he's a criminal, Trump is now waging war against people of color. That should come as no surprise to anyone who has followed him over the years. 

Donald Trump is now teaming up with fellow Republican Mike Johnson. The two of them are teaming up to focus on migrants. Johnson said that he would introduce a bill to ban non citizen voting. Hey Guys, don't you know that non-citizen voting is already against the law and almost never happens?

I'm sure these two incompetent individuals know that already. They are using this so-called future bill to attack people of color. The people that they are afraid of come from South of the US border. The bill would make it necessary for people to show proof of citizenship. Those attempts have already been tried.

Why do I think these two are incompetent? There are many reasons but I will focus on this issue. It's time for the Republican controlled Congress to do their jobs for the American people. Focusing on this issue is unnecessary and a complete waste of time. 

Why focus on this issue? I believe it's because they want to inflame the American people and think they can drum up votes this way. Let me take a stand here. People who support this issue will vote Republican. Trump and Johnson want to inflame their base. They want their supporters to be enraged and combative to illegal immigrants.

This incompetent behavior by Trump and Johnson could lead some people to attack citizens of Latin Heritage, thinking that they are illegal. This is a political game for these two politicians. Shame on their race baiting attempts and shame on them for not putting the American people first.

Let's delve a little more into Mike Jonson. Some people might remember that Mike Johnson was a January 6th denier and sympathizer. Johnson doesn't deserve to be a member of the House of Representatives, let alone the Speaker of the House.

This guy's views are so out of the 1800's that it's scary to think what other crazy policies this man along with Donald Trump's support will come up with next.

Vietnamese Fraudster Sentenced to Death

A Vietnamese court sentenced real estate tycoon Truong My Lan to death because she was convicted of embezzlement and bribery in a scheme that defrauded a Vietnamese bank of millions of dollars.

I'm all for stiff penalties for people who embezzle or defraud others but the death penalty for such crimes?

That's barbaric and inhumane. I would have said that life in prison would be a fair sentence. That would definitely be a sentence that would send be a harsh penalty and one that would severely punish a convict.

I wonder if human rights groups will put pressure on Vietnam to commute the sentence to life in prison or a lesser penalty.

I don't believe in the death penalty but you can make a case for it in the most brutal murders.

I don't understand how a person who hasn't killed someone would be sentenced to death. I also don't think that the death penalty would definitely be a deterrent.  People with bad intentions will still do the crime. 

The United States is an example. States execute dozens of convicted murderers to death, yet violent crime in America is still obnoxiously high.

I'm not sure any sentence would deter a person from committing a crime and if the purpose of lengthy sentences are to punish a criminal severely it would seem reasonable to sentence a criminal to a long prison term.

I hope Lan has her death penalty commuted to lesser sentence.

House of Representatives Nearing Chaos

Today House Republicans defeated a FISA bill brought to the floor by Speaker of the House Mike Johnson. Donald Trump and other GOP leaders urged Republicans to kill the bill and they did so. That’s because there is a group led by Marjorie Taylor Greene to oust Johnson.

Now I'm no fan of Mike Johnson but it makes me mad that the Republican House of Representatives are unable to function and do the work of the American people.

Chaos is looming. Mike Johnson will be ousted soon. If that happens the House will be unable to do its job  for the American people. The evil person in me hopes that happens because that will go a long way to defeating Donald Trump in November.

The patriot in me hopes that Johnson won't be ousted. I don't want the house to be in chaos because the real people who suffered are the citizens of this great country.

Are there any Republicans who are willing to defy Trump? Will anyone stand up to him?

TruthDem doesn't have the answers to those questions. What I do know is that the Republican lawmakers in the House are made up of buffoons and made up of some representatives who at the very least were complicit in the events of January 6th and an attempt at a coup.

It makes me sad that we have members who are so extreme that it hurts the American people, especially women. The house is made of extremists that are so incompetent that they are killing the rule of law. They only care about their personal agendas and don't care about the American people.

TruthDem hopes that House Republicans are defeated in November. Hopefully that will restore some order in the House of Representatives. Now is the time for moderate Republicans to say no to these extremists and yes to democracy!

Arizona is Another Example of the Consequences of the US Supreme Court Overturning Roe V Wade

When the US Supreme Court overturned Roe V Wade, many Americans warned about the consequences of the ridiculous and moronic decision. Yes, the conservatives on the court are idiots, plane and simple.

Today we saw further proof of those consequences as the Arizona Supreme Court ruled that most abortions are to be banned. The Court used an 1864 law as its basis. TruthDem believes in a Woman's right to choose. Even so, couldn't the court use a modern law for its decision?

This kind of ruling shows how outdated and out of touch these types of laws are. This law is nearly 160 years old. States that are enacting anti abortion laws are backwards. They are being written by far right conservatives, who use the New Testament as their basis for their decisions.

Other religions, like Judaism does not ban abortion. Why? Because in Jewish law a baby isn't life until its born. The reason for this law was primarily to protect the life of the mother. The mother's life and health always comes first during a pregnancy.

I don't believe that these far right conservatives care about the mother. I think it comes down to believing women are inferior to men. They believe that a man's right is to rule over women. Women have fought for basic rights in this country for centuries.

It wasn't until 1920 that women in America could vote. That's 56 years after Arizona's 1864 law. When we as a country allow such ridiculous rulings to rule our lives we can be assured that this country is trouble.

The constitution of the United States states that church and state should be separate. I believe that abortion ban laws in Arizona, Texas, Alabama, etc. are based on religious beliefs. I believe they are unconstitutional.

The Alabama Supreme Court banned in vitro fertilization (IVF), which was a consequence of the overturning of Roe. Recently legislation passed, protecting IVF.

Their are times when a woman suffers a miscarriage and may need a procedure called a DNC to remove the the dead fetus. If a DNC is needed and not performed, a woman can die. In Texas a DNC could be ruled abortion and therefore illegal. This is another consequence of overturning Roe.

These types of consequences could have been prevented had the barbaric conservative justices of the Supreme Court of the US used their brains and not their religious beliefs.
